Legit Fighters LaSavage and Pettis at Gladiator Fighting Series
On Saturday October 4th, "Savage" Dan LaSavage and Anthony "Showtime" Pettis kept Legit Fightwear's fall unbeaten streak alive. Following fellow Roufus Sport fighter Eric "Red" Schafer's winning ways, LaSavage moved to 6-1 with his victory over Marco Daniels.
LaSavage, who competed in Gladiator Fighting Series' bantamweight division, needed only 3:32 in the first round to dispatch his opponent. The end came via rear naked choke.
Later that night, unbeaten lightweight champion Anthony Pettis entered the ring for his fifth Mixed Martial Arts bout. Like LaSavage, Pettis came out strong early in his title bout against Jay Ellis. After an overwhelming attack of strikes, Ellis was forced to submit at 1:12 of the first round.
Congrats to both fighters as they continue their ascent up the bantamweight and lightweight ladders.
